My new year's resolution for 2025 was to start a series called The Small Questions and see if I could build any kind of audience. I was hopeful that by the end of the year, I might have a few thousand people watching.
To have hit 100,000 subscribers in less than two months is unbelievable.
To be honest, I'm still working out how to do this. Almost every video, I'm trying some new way of telling the story. And I'm still getting used to talking to a camera, which is pretty hard as it turns out!
But I'm loving every second of it and I have a bunch of videos in the pipeline that I can't wait for you to see.
432 Park Avenue is one of the most unsettlingly featureless skyscrapers I've ever seen. A uniform column that rises out of the ground in New York City and towers over everything else. It also reportedly has a bunch of structural issues even though it was completed less than a decade ago.
If you want to see how creepy this building can feel, check out this incredible animation that my friend Henry made a few months ago. I don't know how he makes these videos and they deserve way more views than they get. Have a look!
Today I was interviewed by BBC local news in East Yorkshire about supermarket clocktowers, which isn't quite what I expected when I uploaded that video 9 days ago, but here we are.
