The Ottawa Drag Saw restoration project suffered a setback as of the winter of 2022-2023. As such, the project has been "frozen" until a recovery plan of action is formulated. I've got some repair ideas and a start of some content so it will eventually be resumed as time permits. The escape suburbia efforts are taking priority over of most others.

The 2024 antique engine and machinery show season is underway. As a participant in a few of the regional gatherings in and around north Texas, I figured it would be nice to go big or stay home. This year's effort is getting my early 1900s Morris Machine Works 4" centrifugal pump serviceable. As an idea of its size, the flat belt drive pulley is 12" diameter and 12" wide. The greatest challenge is getting fittings to match the nonstandard suction and discharge flanges.

On 14 October 2023 EDGTA Branch 43, The Granbury Flywheelers, will celebrate the 100th anneversary of the historic all Fairbanks Morse Electric Light Plant at Lambert Park in the City Of Granbury, Texas, USA.
Look soon for a compilation video of the plant's Fairbanks Morse diesel engines in operation taken over the past 20 years or so....
