My very first Italian Pop song “Cuore d’Oro (Golden Heart)” was born after watching dancer Vito Coppola and Ellie Goldstein perform a breathtaking Couple’s Choice routine on Strictly Come Dancing. Their golden performance sparked the idea for a song that celebrates kindness, empathy, and the beauty of lifting others up. Because true beauty lives in a kind soul - in a golden heart. 💛

Vito’s humility and joy inspired Lily Amis to write Cuore d’Oro - a song for every soul that leads with love and light. From its Italian pop roots to its cinematic English version, Golden Heart celebrates the people who bring light to the darkest moments.

The mini-album has grown into a global musical project, now including Birdy & Fishy (Friends Can Fly and Swim) - a story that I originally wrote in 2017, published as an illustrated book in English, German, Italian, and Spanish, and re-imagined here as a song about friendship and inclusion.

LightSearch is my musical journey through shadows into light. Every track reflects the search for hope in dark times - resilience, faith, and the human need for meaning.

The 4th track on the album “Cocktails of Society” is House of Ghosts. It is survival on record: surrounded by shadows, yet still alive, still burning, still fighting. Its resilience wrapped in melody, a reclaiming of control.


Inspired by my cold-hearted, ignorant and selfish neighbours-people who believe it’s normal to show up uninvited or self-invite several times in 18 years but NEVER open their own door. Who think ignoring everyone is a lifestyle, and sabotaging your laundry day is just casual entertainment. Even a simple, friendly, polite “hello” is treated like you’re asking them for a fortune. They ghost you whenever they can, just to avoid any human contact.


This song is for the ghosts who walk among us, breathing but soulless, dedicated to my cold-hearted neighbours who make me mentally sick!
