Chasing a 28,000 km/h “Flying City” 🛰️🏙️

The International Space Station is the largest human-made object in the sky, and capturing it through a telescope is the ultimate test of speed and patience.

After 8 months of cloudy nights, failed attempts, and blurry frames, Jan 31 finally delivered. I had exactly 60 seconds before the station slipped into Earth’s shadow.

In this fleeting moment:
The Hub: Bright center where astronauts live and work
Docked Ships: Silhouettes of a SpaceX Dragon (top) and Cygnus (bottom)
The Wings: Massive solar arrays powering the station

This wasn’t taken with a massive NASA setup—just a basic 70mm telescope and a lot of patience. Proof that you don’t need an observatory to touch the stars. 🔭🌌

🚀 Caught Tiangong Space Station (CSS) from my balcony!

Hand-tracked this speeding “star” at 27,600 km/h using just a 70mm telescope and my smartphone 🌌🛰️ — no auto-tracker, no computer.

After 10 months of missed passes, everything finally aligned, and I captured this fleeting human-made outpost.

If you look closely, you can make out the T-shaped structure: the Tianhe Core Module, solar wings, and hints of the Shenzhou crew capsule and Tianzhou cargo ship docked at the ports

The Snow Moon of February 🌕

The day didn’t look promising at all — clouds, dull light, no expectations.
But as evening came, the sky slowly changed… and when the Snow Moon rose, everything else faded away.

It’s called the Snow Moon because February is traditionally the snowiest month of the year, and this full moon has been part of winter skies for centuries.

This wasn’t just another full moon.
It was February’s Snow Moon — one of the most beautiful full moons I’ve ever seen 🌕✨

Moon & Jupiter together tonight! ✨🌕

City skies rarely cooperate, but tonight was special. The Moon rose bright and sharp, with Jupiter glowing right beside it — a stunning conjunction visible even from the city!

The first two images are composite shots 📸, captured entirely on mobile from a Bortle 9 city sky — proof that even city lights can’t hide the sky’s beauty.

The sky was perfectly clear tonight, revealing a rare celestial masterpiece. Saturn was glowing golden just beside the crescent Moon, wrapped in the soft, mysterious light of earthshine. 🌙🪐
