Texas was the 26th state we’ve seen so far. We have now seen more than half the states! From what we’ve seen so far, it is BY FAR the state that is most proud of where they live. Walmart has Texas signs and merch all over, including this cute mug. I thought it was fitting since we will be in Texas for the next few months and it is the state that officially allowed us to say we’ve been to more than half of the states! It’s been a huge blessing to so much of America the Beautiful and we are so excited to see more! Happy prep day!
On the road again! We will be in Florida’s pan handle tonight, Alabama and Mississippi tomorrow and the next day, then Louisiana and Texas 2 days after! Let us know if we will be on route near you or any fellowships you may know of! We were planning to leave yesterday but thought we would wait the storm out to be safe and we are happy we did because it’s a beautiful day today! Please pray for safe travels!
It’s so satisfying to see this! This is the ground we’ve covered in only 9 months-13 states! We’ve crossed off most of the east coast!
Green: We’ve spent a lot of time here Blue: We spent numerous nights and visited many places Orange: We spent at least 1 night Red: We spent at least an hour here doing some sort of activity (a.k.a. Being a tourist and/or doing evangelism)
Our goal is to cross the rest of the east off this summer/fall on our way back down to Florida. Then onto the west Yah willing! The east is so beautiful and every state is unique! The memories we’ve made so far are innumerable and it’s definitely a journey of a lifetime. Our kids love it so much they have all expressed desire to do this in the future whether full time or part time.
Lancaster, Pennsylvania is the most beautiful and historic town I’ve ever seen! The people are so kind and hospitable.
One of them being Lancaster Sweet Shoppe! We had to find a restroom and this was the one we stumbled across. They even gave us a free Stroopie sample! It was warm, gooey and delicious! Their story is amazing too! One of the cashiers was also a part-time fellow RVer!
We also stopped at a Swedish candy shop for another bathroom break and got 5 of these cute and tasty Swedish chocolates!
I filmed my first ASMR cooking video tonight! Stay tuned for the release of that video! It will be part of a new series we are trying out. We will be calling it “What RV cooking tonight?” 😂 I’ll have some funny behind the scenes clips along with it. This is my amateur set up. We hope you look forward to checking it out! Tonight’s recipe was Chicken Lo Mein. Who says you can’t cook elaborate meals in an RV? We even have a toy hauler which = tinier than average RV kitchen. 😁
