Corporate is Power 101. If you can’t make it here, you won’t make it anywhere. There are many traps that make you believe that you can do an easy hack and get away with it. That’s your peril. Example: Getting married for power without already having power is demoting yourself far down the hierarchy, digging yourself deep at the bottom of the hierarchy. You won’t come out of that one with mediocre strategies.

No matter how much you try to take a short cut, you will fail until you embody power and leadership that works for where you fall in the hierarchy, and focus on selling what moves the needle in the rigid hierarchy of capitalism, patriarchy, and racism.

People who are deeply racist, misogynistic/sexist, homophobic -BIGOTED - play neutral.

Their neutrality is a card they play so they can side with the oppressors to reap all the benefits, then seek shelter and community with the victims they watched when the oppressors were harming them.

The majority of your therapists, allies, nice friends, and performative liberal/socialist doctors, lawyers, and others who lead with their education,expertise, and smart lip service to conceal their bigotry; hiding behind their intellectualism, “research," and credentials.

The two closest people in my life who I desperately wanted to keep, but unfortunately fit into this group, were two of the smartest people I’ve met. They’re both are Ivy League Ph.D.s.
