Hello, my name is Daniel and I have autism. I'm a very talented man who has a great variety of interests and hobbies. I generally don't argue with anyone who posts rude comments unless they get smart with me first. Cyber-bullying will NOT be tolerated.
Interests:
-Plumbing: Toilets and syphonic urinals, vintage or rare.
-Technology: Old, such as VCR's, CRT TV's, cassette and phonograph players. I have over 250 VHS movies and over 100 LP records.
-Favorite Animal: Bald Eagle and other eagles.
-Bands: U2 (I saw them live at their 360 Concert in Lansing, MI). I also love Sting, AC/DC, Elton John, Tears For Fears and Vib Gyor.
-Urban Exploring: Abandoned hospitals, houses, hotels and supermarkets. The main purpose is to see what the toilets look like.
-Movies: Disaster, comedy and especially ones that have Rob Reiner directing, or casting as a character. I met Rob Reiner once when my sycamore tree I climb was being filmed for the movie "Flipped."

Decided to visit the Eastern Michigan University campus today, especially to do a toilet paper test with the green logo “Standard” Afwall at the Bowen Field House. I hate to say, it got replaced with a junk Kohler fixture. 😡 I did find some other goodies and will post them shorty today.

At long last, I finally managed to film some facilities in Ypsilanti today. I do hate to break it to you, but the Methodist church with the Crane Purtons got renovated, with the new fixtures being junk Kohlers. At least I filmed the bathrooms before the renovation, you will see them in my Renovated/Demolished Bathrooms playlist. :(

Here is the abandoned motel along US 12 that my brother and I visited in 2020, via Google Maps. The structure was built in 1940 and abandoned circa 1990. You might remember the toilets, the Eljer and Case forward-trappers and the 1980s Briggs Conserver.

Thought you might be interested in my bedroom entertainment center, which you might have recalled seeing in my Discussion posts. In addition to vintage toilets, I share a fascination with vintage electronics. I forgot to mention, I turned 29 on February 2nd. :)

Well, here’s a nice dream to start off 2025. It involved me exploring Ypsilanti’s abandoned Willow Run Bomber Plant, in which I discovered a bunch of 1940s forward trap toilets on flushometer, which actually worked, and I recalled filming them. I wish I could share plumbing video footage from my dreams to the community, but that’s 100% impossible. I do plan to return to Ypsilanti to film additional facilities from Eastern’s campus, as well as from numerous churches.

Well this absolutely sucks, the church were I filmed the extremely rare 1956 Case forward trapper, as well as the original “Standard” Altas and Compacts, has closed, and likely to be razed.

I added a new playlist today that features fixtures that no longer exist either because the bathrooms were renovated, or because the buildings were demolished. I’m glad I filmed them, but it’s a shame they aren’t around for plumbing fanatics to film. :(

Had this dream last night of being in a bathroom that had ‘90s Kohler Highcliffes. The interesting facet was there was a Kohler Derry Urinal that had consumption tags below the logo, which stated “1.6 Gallons per flush,” which probably isn’t true in real life. I certainly wonder if there are any Kohler Derries with consumption tags. I’ll let you know of other future plumbing dreams. :)

I certainly wonder why I can’t get my Liked Videos playlist to go public, I bet the plumbing community would deeply appreciate to know I’ve been viewing and liking their posts. It contains over 12,000 vids. :)

Lastly, here’s a long lost vintage bathroom I remember from my childhood. There was a two-screen cinema, which was part of the Maple Village strip mall, built in 1965-‘67. The men’s facility had blue fixtures and blue tiling, while the women’s facility had pink fixtures and pink tiling. I forget what brands and models the toilets were, probably AS or Briggs fixtures. In 2005, the cinema went out of business, and was gutted and renovated into a Plum Market in 2006-‘07. I did mention other lost vintage bathrooms in a video, which is in the discussion playlist on my channel, if you remember.
