AGAIN. Today, December 29, 2024, the aviation industry experienced another airplane accident/crash, just a few days after the Azerbaijan Airlines catastrophe. The airline involved in this crash was Jeju Air, a South Korean low-cost carrier. The Boeing 737-800 was set to fly from Bangkok, Thailand, to Muan Airport in South Korea. The aircraft was forced to conduct an emergency landing without its gears, leading to over 150 passengers losing their lives. There were only two survivors. Not much information has been released yet, but rumours have it that there was a possible bird-strike. The landing gears also failed to deploy upon approach. What a sad week to end off the year. Rest in peace to the passengers who passed away🙏.

Azerbaijan Airlines Embraer ERJ-190 crash😢:
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. Unfortunately, today, Dec 25, 2024, is a tragic day for the aviation industry. Earlier today, an Azerbaijan Airlines E190 aircraft was heading to Grozny, Russia, from its hub in Baku, Azerbaijan. During the flight, the aircraft holding 67 passengers was needed to conduct an emergency landing 3km away from the city, Aktau, in Kazakhstan. Sadly, the landing wasn’t successful, leading to around 30 fatalities. Not much information has been given out yet, but we should understand more in the coming days.
Rest in peace to the passengers who passed away on this tragic day.🙏

Hello fellow avgeeks!
Today, we are celebrating the 19th anniversary since the Airbus A380 took its first flight. On April 27, 2005, the King of the Skies took off from Toulouse-Blagnac Airport.
Despite its end for its manufacturing, today, the Airbus A380 makes a positive impact on the Aviation Industry.
We all give thanks to this beautiful bird.

Good afternoon fellow avgeeks,
This post is going to be a little different, due to the topic being about the recent Japan Airlines crash at Tokyo Haneda International Airport (HND/RJTT). An Airbus A350-900 (JA13XJ) collided with a Japan Coast Guard Bombardier Dash-8 Q-400 (JA722A). Rest in peace to the ones who passed away in this catastrophic incident that took place at the beginning of the new year.
