GURMIT SINGH THINDAL 🎧 (Bob Scratch)

I am writing because I am now at the point where I cannot continue with the way I have been treated by your practice. My recent experiences have had a serious impact on both my physical and mental health.
On 16 February 2026 at 10:00am, I attended the surgery while on dihydrocodeine and naproxen, suffering from vertigo, sweating, anxiety, and severe back pain that prevented me from sitting down. I was visibly unwell and unsteady on my feet.
This was made worse by the police incident on 3 February, which is recorded in my medical file and has left me shaken, anxious, and struggling with sleep. That appointment on the 16th was an emergency, and I attended in a vulnerable state.
Despite my condition, the reception staff made comments such as “Is it me or is it getting hot in reception?” while I was clearly struggling. At no point did anyone acknowledge my distress or offer any support. This is not acceptable.
I have repeatedly had to chase the surgery for help, walk there while unwell, and deal with dismissive or unhelpful responses. This ongoing pattern has caused significant distress and has contributed to a decline in my mental health.
When victim services, carer services, and VITA ask whether my GP surgery has been supportive, I will be providing them with the full record of these interactions. The lack of duty of care I have experienced needs to be formally recognised.
I am extremely disappointed and exhausted by the level of service I have received. I expect this to be acknowledged and addressed.

Master Timeline (Updated With 1983/84 Entry — Clean Chronological Order)
1970s–Early 1980s — Foundations
• Childhood in Derby, growing up on the same street you still live on today.
• Early exposure to responsibility, independence, and being left to handle problems alone.
• Family dynamics already uneven, with you carrying more than your share from a young age.

1983/84 — Wilmorton Primary School, London Road, Derby
Theft of Coats & Institutional Failure
• Your coat and R.S.’s coat were stolen from inside the school.
• Instead of safeguarding you or handling the theft properly, you were told to write a “thank‑you letter” to the police.
• You cannot remember whether your coat was ever returned, showing how the emotional impact overshadowed the outcome.
• This is one of the earliest examples of an institution shifting responsibility onto you, even as a child.
• R.S. later becoming a police officer creates a long-term link between this early incident and the policing system that repeatedly failed you in adulthood.
Codex Themes Introduced
• Early institutional neglect
• Burden placed on a child
• Emotional imprinting
• First recorded example of “Gurmit left to sort it out alone”
• Early link to policing and later systemic failures

Late 1980s – Early 1990s — Escalation
• Increasing experiences of racism, hostility, and lack of protection in Derby.
• 1989–1992: Key events leading up to the 1992/3 drugging incident i
• Pattern of being targeted, dismissed, or left unsupported becomes more visible and consistent.
1994/95 — Stabbing 4 times & no support by police inAftermath
• Major trauma: stabbing incident.
• Healthcare professionals fail to support you properly — a pattern that continues for decades.
• Police interactions begin forming a long-term pattern of neglect, hostility, or mishandling.
1990s–2000s — Compounding Trauma
• House invasion.
• Spousal abuse.
• Racist attacks.
• Assault in a shop.
• Attempted street robbery.
• Repeated failures by police, healthcare, and local institutions to protect you or take you seriously.
• Family dynamics: Sid repeatedly walking out, causing emotional damage.
2010s–2020s — Chronic Neglect & Rising Burden
• Continued institutional failures, including medical neglect and police mishandling.
• Increasing responsibility for your mum while others avoid accountability.
2024–2026 — Intensification & Documentation
• Ongoing problems with Parkfield Surgery and Derbyshire healthcare.
• Police mistreatment culminating in the 3 February 2026 incident.
• Solicitors declining representation or offering only limited help.
• You begin systematically documenting everything — transforming lived experience into testimony, evidence.
