First 11th edition event with the Screaming Ravens done. The Centurion's Final Tour started off with a great event at the Hobby House, which is local to me but somehow I've just not had time to visit until now. Went 2-1 in the end, with my only loss being by 1 point because Shaan is incapable of rolling an invuln save. 75-76, 99-85 and 88-72.

As mentioned in my last video, the ad revenue for the first week of the video has now been donated to charity, and I have donated £710.14 to Thrombosis UK.

Thrombosis UK's mission is, as per their website because me trying to reword it wouldn't be as clear:

"Our priority is for everyone to know the risks, signs and symptoms of venous thromboembolism (VTE), including deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE) and to support research to extend understanding into the prevention and best management of blood clots.

Thrombosis UK works to increase awareness, support and research to extend understanding. We provide free, accredited education and access to medically approved information to improve care for all those affected by thrombosis.

Thrombosis UK exists to give everyone the knowledge to spot the signs, understand the risks, and get the support they need — because awareness saves lives."

In 2023, my wife, known on the channel as "THE WOMAN(tm)", was diagnosed with an unprovoked Pulmonary Embolism. She had pain in her shoulder that she thought was a sore muscle that turned into chest pains and difficulty breathing over a couple of days. We went to A&E and It was discovered she had a large and a small blood clot in her lungs, and thankfully she has been given treatment to fix the issue, and is now on medication to prevent a reoccurance.

However, the cause of these blood clots is a complete mystery. There were no symptoms of anything like a DVT and no other potential casus were found. This, turns out, is extremely common with blood clots. The medication will help in preventing another potential blood clot, as there is the risk that whatever caused the first one could cause another. Thrombosis UK aims to improve general and medical knowledge of blood clots and fund research into thrombosis.

Look! Centurions!

Now that I have your attention - tomorrow i'll be doing a stream and I need YOUR help! I want to find out just how bad the attention span is of my Chat, whilst also building up my Twitch stream stuff and giving myself an outlet for some non-warhammer streams because I don't want to burn myself out on Warhammer. These videos are taking a lot out of me recently so I want to do some other silly stuff I've had plans for.

Also, to get Twitch Partner (not just affiliate) I need to have a bunch of streams with at least 75 viewers which is a lot for Twitch because it has no discoverability. So if you'd like to help that, please go follow me on Twitch.

Now you might be thinking "Paul, why don't you link your Twitch channel?" That's a good question. The thing is, any time I've put a link into any of these kinds of posts, youtube decides that because I'm trying to point people away from their website I must pay for my crimes and posts with links in them basically get no impressions. It's very silly.

I have a link to my purple site channel on the channel profile or in the description of any video. It'll take a few clicks but I believe in you.

Basically I want to diversify a bit, but also I've recently started having issues with my brain deciding that it doesn't want to edit anymore, but also deciding that I shouldn't do something else because I should be editing, and instead I do nothing, despite not having the time. Anyone else have that issue? My answer is to try and monetize the problem so that the thing I want to do it something I also should do for my job. I'm sure that's fine and totally healthy.

Speaking of time, tomorrow's stream will be an Ocarina of Time Randomizer with as many settings as possible, and it's up to Twitch Chat collectively to pay attention to everything that's going on so I don't have to take notes. Fabulous prizes will be available if you can prove your attention span hasn't been as demolished by short form content or something.

"Following the announcement of the new Space Marine Codex, there has been speculation across many social media platforms regarding Paul is Bad at Stuff and his current mental state.

I'm aware that these concerns have been exacerbated by the changes to his VTuber model in recent streams and videos.

Firstly, I would like to reassure you that Paul is safe. When not shaking his fists at GW he has been curled up on the sofa [see attached image], and no doubt questioning his choices to invest in this unit.

As you can appreciate, he will need time to process this loss and reflect on what this means for him and his entire personality...sorry, I mean hobby.
