New social media and Channel Support links

TLDR: New HD2 vid up now. A short Skyrim vid tomorrow (not a literal short). YouTube wants a chunk of your money so I went with the sites below. Also I'm on Twatter.

First of all, uploaded another Helldivers 2 solo vid a little while ago. Been working on a few other vids as well. I'll have a very short Skyrim vid up tomorrow, but am working on a longer one. Tomorrow's vid is basically me testing what the PC can handle. It survived! I'll have to try harder. Also working on another Helldivers vid with Hooston. That should help break my streak of no-commentary vids lately.

If you're so inclined to throw pennies at my Fatsberry face, I have links to Ko-Fi and PayPal below that I'll be including in my video descriptions. YouTube instantly takes 30% of all donations, which is a reason I've held off on enabling channel memberships. Unless you really really want to support both me AND YouTube, it's best to use the other sites below. They keep little to nothing for themselves. Any support is much appreciated. Still shocked I'm allowed to earn ad revenue, but honestly it's only on half my vids (as expected) and probably won't last long. XD

Also I'm on X/Twitter. Yes, I've embraced the cancer. There've been fake accounts over the years, but the one below is real. Why X? Because it doesn't matter what platform I, or any of us choose, it will instantly be hated by half the population regardless and be considered the "wrong" one. So I don't care. I'm already over it. lol

Between YouTube and X and Ko-Fi, and whatever else I create in the coming weeks, I should be able to keep everyone up to speed on what's going on in Scatland, or at least provide regular signs of life.

Thanks for all your support over the years! Glad to have made a positive impact on so many people, somehow, strangely enough. That's what they tell me anyway!

LMAO WTF?!!!!!! So um, I jokingly tried monetizing my channel last night for the first time in 15 years, knowing of course it wouldn't happen, especially after yesterday's video! XD I was told it would be WEEKS before I heard anything back, but they responded in less than 24 hours and said SURE FINE WHATEVER! I was certain they'd laugh and flip me off and that'd be that!

I'm in shock. I was planning on sharing new vids and someday attempting a livestream. Now I can do those things while YouTube throws pennies at me! Too bad I still have Mediacom, but it's not as horrendous as it used to be.

Anyway, wanted to share the news! Everything is active except Memberships. I'll work on those. New Helldivers 2 vid tomorrow!

Uploaded a new vid and scheduled 5 others! They're set as Premieres on the "Videos" tab. Apparently YouTube isn't getting this out to everyone, because I keep seeing comments like "Hope to see an Oblivion Remastered vid someday!" This algorithm, I swear. Anyway, the schedule... I was working on Skyrim SE Randomness Part 2 earlier and realized I still need to adopt Samuel, so I gave up and worked on Elden Ring instead. lol Anyway, just checking in. How's it going? Hey everyone, I was going to post a vid this afternoon, but my upload speed is 0.04 mbps thanks to Mediacom. The upload takes forever or straight up fails. Restarted modem, router, PC, nothing helped. I'll try again in several hours. Hopefully I can share it tomorrow afternoon. It could've been up last week, but I've also been fighting PowerDirector. lol Anyway, didn't want you to think I was making another 9-month-long trip to the store for milk! The next Skyrim vid and Elden Ring are both kinda sorta somewhat in the works. Still clearing my hard drive of other priceless artifacts first! Hope your day and internet is going better than mine!

It took 9 months for my RDR2 vid to hit 13k views. It only took 1 day for Skyrim. The people have spoken. The next vid will be Planetside 2! You're welcome! In fact it will probably be age-restricted. Today a few people told me they aren't receiving notifications when I upload, despite being subbed and having the bell active or whatever. I contacted YT and they sent me this link... support.google.com/youtube/answer/7389684?hl=en I'm sure you'll find it as useless as I did. Not sure what's going on, but it's gotta be on their end. I always have the box checked that says "Publish to Subscriptions feed and notify subscribers."

In other news, Elden Ring is neat. I think it will catch on, possibly make some money!

I played Elden Ring for a few hours. Game crashed 3 times during character creation, but ran just fine when I entered the world. 60fps with max graphics and 4K resolution. That's with an i9-9900k and 2080Ti. Not sure why it runs fine for some people while others are having massive performance issues (Steam reviews are Mixed).

One thing I don't care for is how the UI looks and behaves like a console port that was ported onto another console then ported onto PC. As far as gameplay and visuals and sound and all that I have no complaints so far, but also haven't played much yet. The controls seem a bit wonky, but I've never played a Dark Souls game before so maybe it's just something to get used to.

I'm a Confessor. I resisted the urge to run around as a naked Wretch, but it was tempting. ;) Anyway, the game is super easy and I've never died once. Probably never will. I'm pretty awesome. Hate to brag. Definitely wasn't slaughtered on the spot multiple times by a traveling merchant I picked a fight with because he was alive and in front of me. Nope!

I'll play it some more, but don't see it replacing (heavily modded) Skyrim anytime soon.

Tomorrow's video will be Cyberpunk after all. I had a different video planned for Christmas, but it won't be done in time so I'm saving it for next year. Something to look forward to! I didn't even know Utreon existed until a few days ago. I signed up and they moved all my content over from Youtube, including my banner! The site is extremely new, but so far I only have positive things to say.

Best of all, they're nowhere near as strict! Videos that Youtube would consider 18+ are rated G or 13+ on Utreon. In fact, videos that ARE rated 18+ on their site can still be viewed by EVERYONE! I know because I did a little test. I made a 2nd account and pretended to be 13 and could still watch whatever I wanted (every video has content ratings off to the side so you know what you're getting into). Man, freedom sure is neat!

Okay, that's all I got for now! More soon-to-be-restricted Youtube content on the way! Next vid will probably be on Christmas at this rate. Take care!

(And yes I still have my Vimeo and Bitchute channels. Don't know if I'll ever use them, but I'll keep them handy!)
