True Success is Often Hidden – Just like the large carrot hidden underground, real success is not always visible. Hard work, persistence, and consistency often pay off in ways others cannot see.

The Tale of Tommy and Tilly

Once upon a time, in a small, sunny village, lived a little boy named Tommy and his sister, Tilly. They were cheerful and playful, but they had one little problem—they didn’t like to listen to their parents.

One morning, their mother said, “Tommy, Tilly, don’t play near the muddy pond. It’s slippery, and you could fall!” But Tommy and Tilly giggled and thought, What’s the harm? It looks fun!

As soon as their mom wasn’t looking, they ran to the pond. They splashed and laughed, making silly mud pies. Suddenly—splat!—Tommy slipped and landed in the mud. “Ouch!” he cried. Tilly tried to help, but—plop!—she fell right next to him. Covered in mud, they trudged back home, cold and teary-eyed.

Their father gently helped clean them up. “Do you see why we ask you to listen?” he said. Tommy and Tilly nodded, feeling a little embarrassed.

A few days later, their parents warned them again: “Don’t leave the garden gate open, or the goats might escape!” But Tommy and Tilly were in a hurry to play and forgot to close the gate. When they returned, the goats had wandered into the flower beds, munching on their mother’s favorite roses!

“Oh no!” cried Tilly. “What will we do?” Tommy sighed, “Maybe we should’ve listened.”

This time, they helped fix their mistake by replanting flowers and feeding the goats. Their parents smiled and said, “It’s okay to make mistakes, but learning from them is what matters.”

From that day on, Tommy and Tilly made a big effort to listen to their parents. They stayed away from the pond and always shut the garden gate. And guess what? Life was much smoother!

They still had plenty of adventures, but they learned that listening to those who love you can make life safer and much more fun.

And they all lived happily ever after.

The End.
