As I close out the last day of my 20s it's hard to not feel a little sad and proud at the same time. I wish this decade of my life would've started a bit smoother but I made sure to end it properly to ensure the start of my 30s goes better. Time is flying by so unbelievably fast and I'm not sure I'd mind so much if I didn't have kids getting bigger/smarter with every day that passes. Losing my youth is sad enough but watching my children lose theirs hurts the soul. All of the experiences over the last 30 years has molded me into the person I am today and overall I am happy with the person I turned out to be. I'm not happy with every situation I found myself in but if I had to go through those tough times to become the person I am today, so be it. I'm sad to see my 20s go but I'm also proud of everything I overcame/accomplished during them. I'm excited to spend my 30s with my family & friends doing things I enjoy like disc golfing, golfing, fishing, & camping. I'm also excited to see how much Red Oak can grow during my 30s. I feel like my adult life is starting tomorrow and it's officially time to start putting money in a Roth IRA annually and the other proper steps to make sure we can retire at 60. If time keeps going the way it's going then I'll be writing about starting my 40s in "2 months". I have a lot of goals I want to hit in my 30s so wish me luck. Cheers! 🍻
