We had bred and raised AKC registered boxers in our home. Penny retired after her 3rd and final emergency c-section. Penny’s daughter, River, (from her 2nd liter) had her opportunity for puppies and only had one…she also retired per advice from the vet.
That said, Breeding dogs is a rollercoaster of emotions and can cost way more than it’s worth (financially).
So for now and the foreseeable future, Penny and River will be focusing on their social media career.
