Heyooo. The Aurora season is fully underway in Fairbanks as of now however I am still in Minnesota working my summer job. I start my drive back Nov 10 and should be back home to start the stream no later than Nov 20 (assuming nobody stole my equipment and it all works) also I will be giving Aurora tours full time so that means that I will be doing the adventure live streams every night I'm out chasing. Aurora will be my one and only job this winter so 100% of the time will be between photos and YouTube :) See you guys in about a month

Kinda blurry try but you all should get the idea. With this kind of smoke it's impossible to shoot aurora in this so for the time being I'm going to keep the camera away till the smoke blows away. I'm going to be in Minnesota on vacay 11-20 so I am hoping that august 20th the sky will be clear, so until then hope you all stay safe
Hello! Long time no see. Got some exciting news. It took a lot of pain, hard work, sweat and frustration but the truck/ stargazer mobile is all fixed. It's already starting to get darker outside at night and I think first aurora will be in a couple weeks. I have a new tripod coming soon and I have to build a box for the computer outside since I'm in a new place and I won't have the same view. Hope to see you all on the adventures!

The truck is about almost put back together, I just have 2 more parts so aurora chasing live streams I expect to come back this winter 2. The main stream will look different as this year it will be on a 20ft tripod and on a camera mount that moves (pan tilt)
I was wondering if anyone has any expertise on which pan tilt mounts have a web interface. I would like to buy one that preferably has these features 1. Connects to Ethernet 2. Direct power from wall or is able to be continuously powered via usb or something DC. 3. Has a shareable web interface
Hello all! As of now I am calling it for the 2022/2023 aurora season. The reasons for stopping 2 days early is 1. Ice and snow are falling from the roof which would take out the camera for next year. 2. It's supposed to be cloudy the next couple days 3. I'm moving and I want to get everything out of my place as soon as possible 4. I'm almost at my data limit on my "unlimited internet"
Thank you all for your support, I hope to see you all mid to late august. I have big plans for an even greater setup next year featuring a moving camera. Hey guys! I will start the stream once I get home from work. It was starting to glitch out and it has not been shut down for 92 days so I thought I was able to restart it remotely but I gotta physically press the power button lol. Should be no later than 11pm AKDT
The good news is the aurora is out in iceland, bad news is the internet is so bad I can't stream. 70kb/s upload speed is very bad, I need at least 10-15 Mb/s upload to stream
