One time, a customer called the store because she was having trouble downloading the app. A manager asked me for help, so I spoke to her. She is a senior who relies on her kids to deliver groceries on their visits. But the kids weren't visiting that week, and she needed some items.

It would have taken 72 years to walk her through the app, so I just offered to shop and deliver. She was so grateful, and concerned about how to pay for the groceries. No cash app or anything. I just asked, "Well, how do you normally pay for things?" She replied, "With a personal check." I said, "Good news. I started accepting personal checks today."

She laughed, and I wrote her down grocery list old school style, shopped and delivered. She wasn't in a condition to be lifting things. She injured her back. I always ask customers if they need help if they're present at delivery. She did and invited me to her kitchen, and I set everything out on her counter.

She asked if she could just call me to get her groceries from now on. I said, "No, unfortunately, because I think your kids like doing it for you. But if you're ever in a bind again, absolutely call."

So yeah, I can take a Save Mart order by phone. That's pretty cool. That's 5000 orders since February 2023. 20 months. 250 orders per month, on average. All Save Mart. And the football field thing is equivalent to 357 miles. About 665lbs of bananas.
