They had to rebuild it for for the Sesame Street Christmas Eve special and they had the fuzz balls on the puppet. I was not a big fan of and they kept the stage lights. Manufactured was causing it to fade. Overhead lights can cause it. The color turned, reddish the collar they had to get that replaced multiple times during the late 70s in 1977. they had to rebuilt the puppets multiple times due to volume issues due to sounding problems in London in England at the studio in Great Britain. During its second season The Muppet Show encountered a series of technical difficulties that were largely attributed to the various challenges faced by the Muppet workshop.
