The Glastonbury Symposium ran last weekend, and over the coming days you'll start seeing a lot of content come out of it.
Andy Thomas has organised that event since 1990. He's also spent 35 years reading the evidence on crop circles - he wrote Vital Signs, which is still the standard reference - and after all that time he still doesn't think all of them are man-made.
What I liked about talking to him is that he refuses to pick a side. He calls his approach unpolarised. He reads the evidence, presents both cases, and lets you decide. In a subject where almost everyone is either sneering or true believing, that's rarer than it should be.
We got into what 35 years of lecture audiences have actually reported about ghosts, UFOs, premonitions and crop circles, and the new crop circle book he has in the pipeline.

I’ve just completed a four-part series called Egypt Before History.
It explores whether Egypt’s ancient past extends beyond the accepted historical timeline — from the origins of Egyptology itself, to alternative interpretations of the pyramids, modern subsurface scans beneath Giza, and ancient accounts of structures that no longer exist above ground.
This series isn’t about providing final answers.
It’s about asking whether the questions we’re allowed to ask have been too narrow.
