In the shocking details of Judges chapter 19, we witness the lowest ebb of Israel’s corporate history. When the Levite sinfully sent his harrowing summons to the twelve tribes, it was a desperate act intended to shatter a national apathy that had allowed pagan depravity to take root in the House of God.

But the Scripture is explicit for us too: this moment required the urgent consideration, counsel, and speech of the entire people (Judges 19:30) and it indicates something of God’s expectation of His people in every age—especially in times of moral declension when the "silence" of the Lord is the greatest threat we face.

Because we believe the 21st-century Church has reached a similar point of crisis, we are writing to draw your attention to our statement and confession of faith, recently published in response to the worsening state of the Body of Christ and the nation.
