How Did Our FLEXLine Perform Last Summer? ☀️ 📉
Last summer, 115 homes across Oakville and the Golden Horseshoe participated in an independent testing of our FLEXLine retrofit solar attic fans—specifically the 20W106-FLEX and 50W108-FLEX models. (Larger units deliver even greater savings!)
Goal: Measure reductions in air conditioning electricity use and cooling capacity in Ontario homes with retrofit solar attic fans.
The Results:
🌡️ Cooler Attics: Temperatures dropped by up to 10°C.
⚡ Energy Savings: Homes using iSolar fans used 20% less electricity for cooling.
🕒 Less A/C Runtime: Air conditioners ran 16% less during peak hours and 10% less overall.
🌍 Eco-Friendly: Each system cut carbon emissions by 0.139 tonnes and will help to extend the life of roofs and A/C units!
