Guys, I think you’ve heard about the conflict between Devon Mapping and TheMoldovianMapper, and I want to comment on it. I’m not going to judge whose position is better or worse — I’ll just say what matters to me. 1. Expressing a position. If Devon simply has his own position and may have insulted TheMoldovian, that’s one thing, but the other side acted much worse. A significant part of his channel — or rather, almost all of the posts in the Community tab — is built around pushing his position, mainly through insulting others and portraying himself as “cool.” 2. The conflict itself. Yes, Devon may have insulted TheMoldovian, but the Moldovian was so offended by the video that he started bombarding Devon with reports. In my opinion, this is an extreme form of disrespect toward the entire community — trying to get a genuinely good mapper’s channel (in terms of video quality) deleted because of personal resentment. Here in Russia, people like this are called “Obizhenka” (Обиженка). Deleting a major channel out of resentment is a despicable act. So in this conflict, @DevonMapping , I’m on your side ❤️
