So, today is Nora’s birthday!!
Nora is kind of a villain of TDL, though her story is one that interests me a lot. Nora is, in fact a genius. Her inherent curiosity and passion for exploration in subjects of chemistry and physics. She had won multiple prizes on school events, during teenage-hood and one Nobel prize at the age of 16 for creating the “Young Minds” program. Her intellect is adored by many individuals, yet it is her greatest downfall.
I don’t see Nora as pure evil, not that any human or character is (except for Hakurama but that’s a specific case) but when greed for unlocking the humanity’s greatest power using demons from other universe harvests, it’s almost poetic how quickly someone can become a tyrant.
Nora Gouvards, by her full name, is a commentary on how people can create an empire relying on image and if you allow greed seep into your heart, sympathy can be forgotten in the whim of the moment.

‘As poetic as I am, the words sometimes get stuck in my throat
Cold enough to tingle the insides, yet the comfort of them being hidden remains
Time wise for the eternal night knows what is about to ignite
So I let it flow, like a river between birches
Quiet without the need to announce
And what if I’m still waiting for my fresh new beginning?
The journey isn’t ‘bout winning
I’m a seed Mother Nature planted
And only a spring and time will show
How ill one day blossom under the velvet sky.’
I’m truly grateful for each and every one of you who decided to stick with s goober like me and I don’t really know how to properly show my gratitude of how much it means to me. A poem for you, silly as it may sound like. I hope you’ll one day blossom at your favorite place and time<3
