Hi everyone, will be off the air for a couple of months, probably be back in December. If not it will be the new year.
Hubby and me have decided to make our tree change happen sooner rather than later so it's all hands on deck to declutter, clear and fix up ready to put our house of 30 years on the market.

At the time of writing this there are 138 videos and 39 channel in the playlist. WOW, never in a million years was that level of participation expected.

A quick heads-up: the Facebook group is now private, not because we’ve joined a secret society, but to protect everyone’s privacy. As of Monday, you’ll need to be a member to sneak in and see all the lovely inspiration (and the occasional crafty confession).

Hi friends, I’d like to take a moment to clarify a few things and share the heart behind my July Junk Journal Challenge.

When I learned that the beloved July challenge many of us look forward to each year had been cancelled, I decided to create something gentle and fun to fill that creative gap. My intention was never to take over or replace that challenge—only to offer an alternative space to connect and create during a time we all usually come together.

To come up with the name and prompt list, I used AI as a creative tool to help generate my own ideas. These prompts and concepts are original and shaped to reflect my own style and approach. I did not copy or borrow from anyone else’s content.

Any similarities to past challenges are purely coincidental; and honestly, to be expected. After all, it’s a junk journal challenge in July, and we’re all drawing from similar themes, materials, and seasonal inspiration.

Out of respect for the creator of the previous challenge, I kindly ask that you please do not direct questions about my challenge to her. She has expressed to me that the unexpected interest is becoming a burden, and I truly don’t want to add to her stress. I’m happy to answer any and all questions about my challenge myself, and I deeply appreciate your interest and support.

This community means a lot to me, and I’m so thankful for those who’ve reached out with kindness. Let’s keep lifting one another up and creating from a place of joy and encouragement.

CORRECTION - Oh boy, do I need a proof reader!!

Made a couple of boo boos in my latest video regarding dates etc.
The challenge will be starting on Tuesday 1st of July and of course, it's a junk JOURNAL challenge, not a junk JOURAL challenge. ha ha ha
Have updated the printable prompt list and thumbnails and also included a list of the prompts in my video description.

Thank you all for your enthusiasm for this challenge, let's make it a wonderful event and who knows, maybe we can do it again next year.

JUNK JOURNAL JULY HAS BEEN CANCELLED

We are going to soldier on and do our own challenge in July of course.

It is a glorious morning here at Sunshine Coast, birds are singing, the sun is shining, the coffee is hot and strong and I've just spent a pleasurable 20 minutes or so creating a simple collage page in my altered book.
