The Maasai tribe are a tribe of lion hunters in east Africa who routinely jump higher than NBA players due to their unique method stretch-reflex plyometric training.

Their knowledge of how to build fast twitch muscle fibers is superior to 99% of fitness coaches.

I’m about to release a video breaking down the science and history behind their incredible jump training, and how YOU can benefit from their knowledge in order to jump higher, run faster and hit harder.

To celebrate, I’m running a limited time sale on my Maasai Method Plyometric training routine:

-three 20 minute sessions per week
-easy to combine with your current exercise routine
-minimal equipment needed

It was $69 but for a short time you can grab it for just $29 right here:

Ricky Marciano only weighed 187 pounds when he landed this knockout punch on the legendary Jersey Joe Walcott during their Heavyweight title fight on September 23, 1952.

The only other time I’ve seen this level of flesh shockwave was when Michael Chandler knocked out Tony Ferguson with a kick in their lightweight MMA fight on May 7, 2022, at UFC 274.

Rocky wasn’t a big man, but he was known to train harder than any other boxer in his day. He was the rare example of a fighter with both endless cardio and freaky punching power.

RIP.

The GENIUS behind Soviet kettlebell training (5 reasons it was so effective):

ANTI-GLYCOLITIC TRAINING:
Short, explosive lifts and swings timed to the ATP energy system directly. Soviet coaches measured effort precisely, usually 5-10 seconds per set, to maximize CNS activation and pure force development. These sessions trained the body to produce less acid within the muscle.

GLYCOLITIC TRAINING:
Longer sets times to build the glycolytic pathway and improve muscular endurance the old fashion way. Soviet athletes combined these with timed rest periods to boost recovery and train the muscles to better tolerate acid. The opposite side of the coin compared to Anti-glycolytic / Mitochondrial Training

FULL BODY FORCE DEVELOPMENT:
Targeted application of specific lifts, jerks, presses, and carries at precise intensities built overall power output and functional strength. These movements trained multiple joints, emphasized full-body force production, and developed transferable power far beyond simple gym lifts.

DEDICATED SKILL PRACTICE:
The Soviets believed strength was a “skill”as much as anything. Daily practice of Turkish get-ups, swings, snatches, and heavy presses ensured bigger results, reduced injury risk, and allowed heavier work to be safely applied later. Skill work was treated as its own form of training.

WAVE LOADING:
Weekly wave loading allowed systematic fluctuation of intensity and volume. This method increased strength while minimizing fatigue, teaching the body to adapt to heavier loads over time. Soviet scientists believed this powerful principle was far more efficient than typical gym progressions.

I’m teaching a Soviet strength training seminar this March in Lexington, Kentucky.

Last year’s event was a blast.

We trained. We ate. We hung out.

We’re doing it again this year and opening it up to the public.

Mark your calendars.

Hope to meet you guys there.
