The sun began to rise over Keylong as we loaded our backpacks into the jeep, the crisp air filled with anticipation. Our destination was Leh, known for its mesmerizing views and challenging terrain. The winding roads led us through lush valleys and past cascading waterfalls, each turn revealing breathtaking vistas and snow-capped peaks.
As we climbed higher, the onset of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) brought headaches and nausea. At over 13,000 feet, the thin air made each breath an effort. Despite the hardships, the landscape's beauty was awe-inspiring, with towering mountains and an endless blue sky.
Taking breaks to acclimate, our camaraderie kept our spirits high. We crossed high mountain passes, serene valleys, and rugged terrains, each challenge balanced by stunning sights. As we approached Leh, a sense of accomplishment washed over us.
Leh greeted us with its unique charm.The road from Keylong to Leh, with its challenges and beauty, became a cherished chapter in our adventures. Watchout new vlog on my channel- thewanderingpahadi.oia.link/ManaliToLeh
