1 year ago, I hit “upload” on my very first lesson without knowing if anyone would even care. I was just trying to build and share something I believed in. Like planting a seed, and nurturing it every day, hoping it would grow 🌱

Fast forward 12 months, and somehow this little idea has grown into 2,500+ people learning Spanish with me. That honestly blows my mind 🤯

This year hasn’t been easy. I’ve spent countless evenings and weekends preparing, filming, editing, re-editing… sometimes exhausted, sometimes doubting myself, looking at my own videos and cringing, and even more often wondering if it was all even worth it 🙇

But every time one of you left a comment, shared your progress, or simply watched a video — it reminded me why I started. And I also know that anything good in life takes (a lot of) time to build ⏳


This isn’t just a subscriber number to me. It’s proof that patience, consistency, and following your intuition do lead somewhere. And it’s a reminder that what I create here matters to someone on the other side of the screen.

All I want is to be OF SERVICE, helping other people, turning this into something big, so I can spend my time working on things that truly MATTER to me 🤍

A couple of days ago, someone asked me: “Wes, what’s your dogma?”
I paused for a moment and answered: “To SERVE others, and to keep building myself as a vessel for good.”

That’s really ALL I WANT — to be of service, to be useful, to help out in any way I can.

I uploaded my first video a bit less than 1 year ago. Today, we hit 2,500 SUBSCRIBERS!! 🤯

I know the struggle of learning a foreign language, and the amount of time it takes to really master it, and so I have a lot of respect for people who push themselves to become better every day 💪.

Spanish with Wes!

3 months ago, I started this YouTube channel with 1 simple goal: To help other people learn Spanish. 3 months and 13 videos later, we reached our first big milestone of 500 subscribers (8 December 2024).

I just want to say; THANK YOU!

I really hope that my videos are helpful to you in your journey of learning Spanish. As a thank you, I will start creating more SHORTS in the next months to come, with helpful words & phrases in Spanish.
