Hey everyone, here’s another update.
So I’m sick right now, but I’ll soon be catching up on my online class. After that I will start my new channel and announce it here. I hope you guys are excited!

What I’ve realized is that Roblox does simply not want to unban Schlep and they continue to lie to parents claiming their platform is child-friendly.

Also, I have disabled channel memberships because I won’t be able to deliver the perks anymore since I will be leaving this channel.

You guys will get the name of my new channel quite soon! And yes, I’m thinking about starting live streams again and I will bring back channel memberships once I get monetized again, but next time I’m thinking I’ll just have one tier for $0.99/month so everyone can afford it.

I’ll see you guys quite soon! And yes I will make a video talking about this :)

A goodbye, I guess???
So it’s been literally a month and a half since this whole drama started, and honestly Roblox continues to ignore it and do nothing. They constantly are not listening to the community. They keep ignoring us too.

They will not unban Schlep and they just seem to protect predators left and right. I honestly don’t know how to feel about this.

They can copy TikTok by adding 'moments', but can’t even address some of their biggest problems.

I honestly don’t want to make Roblox content anymore because of how I’m tied to one brand that lies about child safety and sweeps everything under the rug.

Note that channel memberships will be going away soon since I will not be able to deliver perks anymore. Don’t cancel just yet, I will wait to decide.

However, I don’t want to quit YouTube. I love doing what I do. I love making videos that people enjoy watching. I have gotten thousands of amazing comments from all of you since I have started!

I never expected this to ever happen when I was starting to break out. Sure, I could have easily had 20k subs right now, but I follow what is right. What’s right is not standing with Roblox. They will never do anything about the Schlep situation.

Because of this, I cannot continue making Roblox content. I have thought this out for a while. But I still want to make high-quality content for everyone that continues to watch this channel.

So no, I’m not leaving YouTube. In fact, I’m going to be staying on YouTube. But I’m not going to be Simply Dom RBLX anymore. To everyone wondering, I will keep up all of my content on this channel.

I have thought out what I want to do in the future. In the future, I don’t want to help give more publicity to a company that sells lies just for investors.

So I have decided that I’m going to make a new channel that will be shared here soon. I’m a straight A student, and I want to help other people become a better student. I want to help people in general.

My new channel will be made after I finish my online class which I already 80% done. You should hear from me again quite soon.

Hey everyone, here’s an update!
So I know I haven’t posted in almost 2 weeks, it’s honestly because I’ve been figuring out what to do. The Roblox drama just keeps getting worse and I just can’t keep supporting big tech companies prioritizing profits over child safety… I’ll get to what I’ll do in a bit but first I’m gonna go on a rant.

So first of all I know many people will be asking why I stopped posting when my channel was starting to break out. I was starting to get 10-20 subs a day even without posting. I was also up in revenue. However this drama started right when my channel started breaking out, and honestly I cannot keep giving more publicity to a company that seems to protect child predators and sue anyone who keeps their platform safer.

It seems like all Roblox YTers are just focusing on this drama, and I simply just don’t want to. It’s sad what Roblox has become over these past few years, these big tech companies are just so greedy for no reason. Now at first I thought this drama was gonna be over in a week, but it’s been weeks… Roblox just doesn’t seem to care.

I feel like I can’t keep making videos on a platform that continually protects child predators. It just doesn’t feel right.

So I’m going to be launching a new channel soon that is related to productivity and study tips (because I’m a straight a student). Don’t worry, I’m not quitting on this channel. I think it would be easier to grow on another channel too because I already know how to make good videos.

Ok, sorry for yapping. But I will probably return in a couple of weeks once this drama stops. I’ll share my next channel when I create it.

Hey everyone, I’m gonna open up about something. There’s a problem. I can’t continue to be silent about this.

You see, playing Roblox is my job. No, literally, I make money from playing this game. However, there’s a problem.

If you’re unaware, Roblox has gotten into some drama with a YouTuber. Now, this isn’t just normal drama where there’s harmless beef, it’s actually serious. I’ll explain it here.

‪@RealSchlep‬, a Roblox YouTuber, has been hunting down predators on purpose on the Roblox platform to prevent kids from being groomed.

Roblox banned all of his accounts and sent a cease and desist letter for simply trying to find people who were hunting down children, here’s my opinion.

First of all, I think the predator problem on Roblox is slightly overexaggerated. However, I still think it’s a problem. Sure, it’s a problem since there’s creeps everywhere, but oftentimes these people ask kids to use third-party services which is not allowed by Roblox. These platforms such as Discord should not even be used by minors. You can also disable chat, in fact, I never had chat when I was a child. I have never been the target of any predator on Roblox thankfully. However, him trying to keep the platform safer is actually a good thing.

A second thing, Roblox has responded claiming you can "report" people, which has done nothing. I have known people who have sent homophobic messages, asked me for personal information/third party services to get of the platform, and death threats which could easily be detected by a robot. When I have reported users who have done these things, nothing has been done. Roblox’s moderation seems to ban me for saying /e dance, while homophobic + transphobic comments and asking for personal information can easily go under-the-radar.

For more context, I have been asked for my phone number and social media platforms on Roblox as a way of bypassing trouble on the platform. Again, none of the users who have done this have gotten banned even those these messages could easily be identified by a robot. These big tech companies seem to clearly care more about money than child safety.

No, I’m not LGBTQ if you’re wondering (I'm a biological male and I’m straight), I have been asked this question primarily in the past (occasionally now but rare). It doesn’t even matter.

However, I need to find a solution to this problem. As of now I’m not going to be posting content for a couple of days just to see where this goes. I also need to focus more on my online class because I need to complete it before school starts. I actually have less than a week before school starts so…

If you have any suggestions on what I should do, comment below! I’m kind of in a limbo right now… I really don’t feel comfortable making content about Roblox. At the same time this is my job. I don’t know what to do. I only did Roblox content because I didn’t need to use my face and + I enjoyed it. I’m sorry for this long rant, and I hope ‪@RealSchlep‬ sees this, you are a true hero for saving kids on this platform

So I’m actually working on a bunch of long and short videos that will be coming out soon. I have to really thank you all for all of the support I have gained recently, we are growing quick! I just opened my YT Studio and saw my views are up 728% which is mind-blowing (LITERALLY 300K VIEWS IN THE LAST 28 Days)! Make sure you are also subscribed because I’m planning to get 10k by the end of this year :)
Again, I’m really sorry there was no video today. I got really lazy. Also my long-form videos are going to be premiered now on. I know you guys miss my long-form content, but there’s some in the works right now! I also hope you’ve been watching my latest shorts too. My goal is to get to 3 shorts a day and at least 1 long video a week, if not more.
