Hi friend! My name is Angelica! I’m a professional scheduler by trade. Planning, scheduling, and calendars are my jam. Welcome to planner beat! I share the typical plan with me videos; but with a twist. A lot of my planner videos are in a teaching format; where I teach you my system in an effort to aid you in your planning process. I also share how I utilize my planners for goals and project planning and will even share follow up videos and vlogs on how I execute those plans in hopes that you will find success too. The mantra around here is our planners should work for us and not against us. Welcome aboard! Check out the videos tab for all of my videos! Don't forget to subscribe so you are alerted to new uploads! Browse over to the "posts" tab where I also share planning tips, current happenings, and encouragement.

Hi Planner People! I would consider this weekend, the weekend of December 13-14, as the last weekend before Christmas. Next weekend is the weekend OF Christmas since Christmas falls on a Thursday. This would also be the weekend of Hanukah if you celebrate and the "last" weekend before Kwanza, Yule, and the Winter Solstice. Start locking in hard if you have not already to get things done now. Remember, the idea with preplanning is to grab what you can do now so you are not adding unnecessary stress to yourself. We want to enjoy the Christmas and Holiday things we are planning for too! The only thing I would personally plan to do next weekend would be to shop for perishable food items that wouldn't last if you were to shop for them now.
You can see how I plot Christmas tasks on my schedule in my most recent video. Good luck on your Christmas and Holiday planning and if there are any tips I could offer please let me know!

Don't know where to start for your 2026 planning?
Last year I shared one of my methods for setting up a year in advance called "planner foundations." Start with video 1: the perpetual planner. This creates the building blocks for your planning for the year, any year, and any time of the year. I instruct you on how to find and create this information from scratch; your source material for your bedrock planning. Then I share some items I include on my perpetual calendar such as reminders, and planning items I should be planning for. In the second video I show you how I use my month at a glance to plot this information we collected in video 1.
I hope this helps. I'll see you in the next video!

Christmas in July continues! I started my Christmas baking with this pan of Christmas toffee. After it sets I will put it in the freezer until Christmas. And just like Christmas magic this toffee can be eaten right out of the freezer! You can’t even tell it was baked months ago! If you are new around here the bulk of my Christmas baking can all go into the freezer and be eaten straight from the freezer. This how I get a leg up on Christmas planning and maybe you can too! This for sure lasts a year in the freezer. I’m not sure if it can go longer because we always eat it all by then. Give it a shot!

Last year in June I launched my Christmas planning series called “Let’s Plan Christmas,” a 4 part episode series teaching you how to break down Christmas planning into easy manageable steps. We created planning sheets, a timeline, and our own unique Christmas planner to help us get through as much of the planning and prep as soon as we could. The goal for my Christmas 2024 was to have as much as my Christmas action steps done before Christmas so I could actually enjoy my holiday. I even shared a few follow up videos! Happy to say this early investment in creating my Christmas planner paid off and I had everything done and ready weeks before Christmas. This took a huge load of stress off my plate and I actually got to enjoy my holiday. And I hope you did or will too if you followed or choose to follow the series this year.
A lot of you found these videos in November and made comments that you wish you found them sooner. This post is for you! I used June last year to rough draft the planning and make my Christmas planner so that it was ready to actually be used in July.
I am still waiting on some elements to come in for my Christmas book 2025 so content on my side won’t be ready quite yet. But you don’t have to wait to make your own book. Check out the series and start working on your Christmas planning today!

What kind of Christmas planning would you like to see this year? Anything particular you need help with?

I am super excited for my trip to disneyland this October! I found some really cool haunted mansion free coloring pages online and sized them down to fit in my filofax so I can have some fun coloring to do while I am on the plane. Mini flip can be found in "shorts" and on my instagram. I have a few more things I am waiting on to show up in the mail before I share the set up of my disneyland book and planner! Super exciting!
The haunted mansion is my favorite attraction at disneyland. What is yours?

Working on my Disneyland planner and project book for my trip this fall. There are some elements of the book I am planning to carry with me in my personal rings. I used a tutorial from @MarianeCresp to resize from letter, which is the happy planner big size seen in the picture, to personal size for my rings. Tutorial link: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-jq_ar3.... Stay tuned for a set up video!

This weekends videos are further examples on how you can use your planner as an extension of your brain. As a tool to help you remember and stay organized. What a planner should be.
The first video I go over yearly tracker inserts that I am using for organizing and planning my cleaning and home maintenance for yearly, semi annual, seasonal, etc. I look forward to trying them out. These will act as an aid for me for helping maintain my home and making sure I am prepping early for those seasonal changes.
Video 2 is about creating a section in your organizer for collecting future lists and notes. In this specific example I share how I collected notes regarding birthday planning and Easter for future action and planning. Instead of trying to keep all of this information in our heads why not keep a collection of these notes in your organizer? I even share how you could do this similar process using your outlook calendar. When the birthdays and Easter has passed I simply toss the sticky notes. If they are no longer serving a purpose they get discarded, which clears up room both in my planner and my brain.
I hope these tips help you in your planning.
