🚨 UPDATE: Mesa Police Shooting Investigation

Mesa Police have released new information regarding a shooting that occurred Tuesday night near East Brown Road and North 40th Street.

Just before 10:00 p.m. on December 23, officers responded to reports of gunfire and found three people — two males and one female — suffering from gunshot wounds. All three were transported to a local hospital. Tragically, one of the male victims, a 19-year-old, later died from his injuries. The other two victims are in stable condition and expected to survive.

Police say detectives have developed probable cause to arrest two juvenile suspects. Authorities confirm there are no outstanding suspects and no ongoing threat to the community at this time. The investigation into what led up to the shooting is still ongoing.

🚨Hold on to your hats, folks, because this is a real head-scratcher! A 78-year-old from Massachusetts, named John Figgie (yes, that's his real name, folks!), got caught in a hit-and-run in Manatee County, Florida. Apparently, he forgot his "I'm sorry" card at home because he left the scene of a serious injury crash on US 41. Looks like John is now spending his vacation in the county jail. As for the victim, we're all keeping our fingers crossed for a speedy recovery. It's a real shame that John couldn't just pull over and chat with the victim, but hey, at least he got arrested!
