Christmas, just the thought of this time of year floods the heart with warm and wonderful memories of times past. Times that were simple and pleasant, times of great anticipation, of joy and laughter of warmth and love. Even now with the busyness of the season, people of all ages seem to laugh more, care more, give more, and feel the joy in their hearts more readily than any other time of the year. Children instinctively feel this due to the lack of cynicism in their hearts because that is where Christmas resides in that perfect little heart untouched by the world. The heart of the child in all of us allows us to act like children in this season, giving in to the Miracle of Christmas and thereby making our world a little better place to live in. We should embrace this child-like heart more often and maybe we can extend the Miracle of Christmas a little longer. Imagine the reason for all this is because a child untouched by the world was born in a manger so long ago.
