You're probably wondering what the HELL is that. Some kind of humanoid mutant skull, perhaps? In reality, it is completely normal. What you are seeing is a human child's skull. It turns out that the child's adult teeth are UNDER his eyes. They are later put into place when baby teeth fall out. If I had known this when I was a child, I would have been pretty scared of my own body.

CARRIED INTO KINGSHIP
“So Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, went down, and caused Solomon to ride upon king David's mule, and brought him to Gihon.” (1 Kings 1: 38)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
Our Focal Scripture speaks of how Solomon was taken to Gihon whilst riding on the king’s mule. Solomon did not need to take himself to the throne. He was literally made to ride on the king’s mule. He was carried to the place of his coronation. This was not the kingship he needed to fight to attain. This was the kingship that God positioned men to carry him to. Others may have laboured or fought their way, but Solomon was carried.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: God is positioning men around you who will carry you to your high places. God is sending you helpers that will not stop until you get to your thrones and crowns. God is sending you men who will literally carry you on your way to the top. God is sending you men who will make your journey to the top easier than you planned for. God is sending you men with the 'mules' that will carry you to greatness.
Get set: you may have been accustomed to journeys to the top where you had to move all by yourself; but in this season, God will cause it to come to you by grace. God is causing you to ride on the mule that will take you to your ‘Gihon’. God is causing you to be ridden to your throne. God is sending you men who will do for you what you should have done for yourself and by yourself. God will give you a ride to your next level.
You will not be stranded on your way to the throne. You will not get to a point where you need help and not find help. You may not have enough capacity to move on your own, but there will be men willing to fill the gap for you. You may not know your way to your ‘Gihon’, but God will send you men who know the way and are determined to take you there. God will send you the transporters you need to your throne.
Your journey to the top will not stop on the way, and it will not require your own energy alone. As surely as God lives, you will receive the gift of men who will carry you to the top.
Isaiah 60: 10 says: “And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.”
Declare With Me: I receive the gift of men who will carry me to the top, in Jesus’ name!

EVERYTHING WILL ALIGN

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
Our Focal Scripture speaks of that moment when the mighty men of David all lined up to take Solomon to Gihon where he was anointed as king. The priest, the prophet, the army chief and the warriors all lined up to make Solomon king. Solomon’s kingship and rising had already faced the contention of Adonijah, but contention soon made way for alignment. Everyone aligned to ensure that Solomon was made king as David desired.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: everything will align for your rising. Everything will cooperate to ensure that you rise to your next level. Everything will work together to ensure that your glorious new beginning becomes your reality. Everything will work together to make you more than you are currently. Everything will line up to favour you on your pathway to greatness. Everything will be positioned in your favour.
Hear me as I hear the Lord: every man in power will align to work in your favour. Policies will align to work for your rising. Men you do not know will align to work for your elevation. Strangers will arise and align with your advancement. Your environment will align to work for your good. Thrones and crowns will align to take you to your thrones and crowns. Men who matter will align to take you to your next level.
Today, I decree, every previous contention is making way for full alignment. Every opposition against you is making way for the help and helpers you need. Everything that worked against you in time past is making way for the things and people that will work for your good. Every policy that tried to stagnate you is making way for new policies that will move you forward. For every contention, let there be more alignment.
The same way all the mighty men in our Focal Scripture aligned to make Solomon king, everything will align to make your rising a reality.
Romans 8: 28 says: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Declare With Me: Everything and everyone will align, in Jesus’ name!

A GREATER THRONE
“As the LORD hath been with my lord the king, even so be he with Solomon, and make his throne greater than the throne of my lord king David.” (1 Kings 1: 37)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
It is important to observe that David only sought for Solomon to reign in his stead. David wanted Solomon to replace him on the throne. Notice that in our Focal Scripture, Benaiah took it a step further and declared that God would make the throne of Solomon greater than the throne of David. Benaiah declared that David’s status quo was about to be broken. Benaiah declared that more greatness was about to come forth through Solomon.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your throne will be greater than your predecessors’. Those who have gone ahead of you, you will do better than them. You will do better than your fathers. You will do better than your current superiors. You will do better than your rivals. You will do better than those you currently look up to. You will do better than whatever is the best that existed before you. You will break the current limits and status quo.
David’s throne was already great, but Benaiah declared that Solomon’s throne would be greater. Solomon was going to be the new definition of greatness. Solomon’s greatness was going to be so significant that it would make David’s greatness seem a bit less. Hear me as I hear the Lord: you are that one that is about to redefine greatness. People are about to see the new definition of greatness through you. You will set new standards.
It will never be said that you were less than those who went ahead of you. It will never be said that your older generation did better than you. It will never be said that you turned out below the standards of your current superiors. It will never be said that you belonged to the generation that made men to seek for the return of the old. It will never be said that your best was not as good as the best of those who went ahead of you.
Your path shines brighter and brighter. You will never have a better yesterday. You will never be less than those who have gone ahead of you. As surely as the Lord lives, your throne will be greater.
Proverbs 4: 18 says: “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”
Declare With Me: Like Solomon, my throne will be greater than the thrones of those ahead of me, in Jesus’ name!

DIVINELY CONFIRMED
“"It shall be done," answered Benaiah, "and may the LORD your God confirm it!” (1 Kings 1: 36 GNB)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
In our Focal Scripture, after hearing the request of King David for Solomon to be installed as king, Benaiah said amen. Put differently, Benaiah said, let the request of the king be confirmed in heaven and by heaven. Benaiah raised a matter about the confirmation of heaven, and how it was needed in order to fulfill David’s wishes. So David came up with a plan, and heaven confirmed it. The desires of David got a divine confirmation.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: everything that is your desire, may heaven confirm it. May heaven confirm the desires of your heart. May heaven confirm your expectations. May heaven cause your prayers to be answered. May God confirm your new season. May God confirm your next level. May God give confirmation for your help and helpers to show up already. May God cause your victory to be confirmed.
Today, I pray for you: may your dreams and desires receive heaven’s confirmation. May your relevance and influence receive divine confirmation. May your long forgotten ideas receive divine confirmation. May your successes receive divine confirmation. May the doors and gates that the Lord has opened to you receive divine confirmation. May heaven say yes to you. May heaven give you a yes when men say no.
Adonijah had sought the same throne that David was about to vacate, but heaven didn’t confirm it. Adonijah made efforts that were not in line with the will of God, and God did not confirm it. Before you set out to claim that heaven has not confirmed your heart’s desires, also ensure that your desires are in line with the will of God. Do not set out with agenda that heaven did not set for you, and later wonder why it lacked confirmation.
No matter how men feel about you, always dare to find out if heaven has said yes on your behalf. If God has confirmed it, no one can annul it. If God be for you, how can the matters of your life not be confirmed?
Lamentations 3: 37 says: “Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?”
Declare With Me: Heaven has said yes on my behalf, in Jesus’ name!
