Hi guys! I’ve been getting a lot of backlash around my accent and I wanted to come on here to clear the air💗
I was born in England, I’ve always had a British accent but since I moved here back in 2012 I wanted to sound like everyone around me🫣
I grew up masking my British accent so I did develop an American accent on top of my British. A few years back I made the switch to truly embrace who I really am and speak however came naturally to me. I pushed it off so long to bring that to my channel here because I was afraid what people would think and would stop watching. But it didn’t make sense to me to be completely myself in all areas of my life besides from on MY channel. All I know is that the people who truly watch me for me and enjoy my content will stay and for those that have I appreciate it.
