Well it's been a while since we've put out a video or posted here on our community page!! But.... behind the scenes I've been working on our first video from Christmas Island!! I've decided to break up our Christmas Island trip into two videos as it was such a big adventure and there was so much to see. I finally have the first video at the final tweaking stage & showed Nimal tonight for the first time. He said "I think these are going to be our best videos yet!" which made me quite excited to hear that reaction!! So... I'm still working on it but hope to have it up in the next few days. Working on our next YT video and this is Lily Beach!! Our favourite cool off spot. Christmas Island was an amazing adventure and this beach lagoon was spectacular. Everything about Christmas Island is dramatic!!! The wildlife! The birds!! The landscape!! Can't wait to put this video out. It's going to be great!

We hope everyone had a lovely Easter break 😊 We took the opportunity to explore Mount Glorious in southern Queensland. This spot was very well named!! It was indeed….. GLORIOUS!! I’m looking forward to making a video of this trip. Lots of interesting birds & wildlife!!

We have just come back from a quick trip up to Ouyen, Victoria to see the Pied Honeyeaters. These nomadic birds can be difficult to see as they move around arid landscapes following rainfall and flowering plants. So, it was great seeing them in Ouyen enjoying the flowering eremophilas along with so many other Honeyeaters. Finally I've made a purchase on a brand new high speed laptop!!! This can only be a good thing (once it arrives in store!) as I'm hoping this new laptop will solve so many issues I have making videos.... like being able to basically open my video files!! Thanks for all the votes on our recent poll!! Clearly Lord Howe Island has won so that will be our next video!! 😊 We visited Lord Howe for 7 nights in early December and it really was a wonderful place to visit!! There were so many amazing birds to see from the angelic White Terns nesting in the pines to the ground dwelling Lord Howe Woodhens brought back from near extinction. We explored the island, met the sweet and very intelligent sniffer dogs that keep the island safe and snorkelled with sharks in the most stunning reef we have ever seen!! So.... once I've bought a new computer I'll be getting onto it right away!! Stay tuned! 😊
