I watch as though my eyes are sharper than an Owl’s.
Tailcoats and forbidden song, spiralling through empty hallways. Falling down, this show is more and less than it seems. Everything. Nothing. I wait for a signal, a way of knowing that now is the time to run and fly and dance and hum and stumble and trip and spin and distort and spiral and WATCH. I am incapable of moving, once again. What a pathetic waste, if my wings are not to flap as they once did. You may hide behind your mask, but I have never hidden. The time is too early for that. It always will be, Reeves. You are a child. There shouldn’t be a need to fear the world itself. I apologise, but this is not the time for the crafting of a narrative too complex for you to breathe it in. The Moors have been cruel these past months. Should your work continue…? That’s up to Him. I suppose it all is, in the End.
