It’s 24 hours later, more or less, and people are calming down and becoming more rational. It’s why I never give an after-match reaction type post, no matter the result, because you’re never thinking with a clear mind — even if we’ve had a great result.
We all know where we were a matter of months ago. We were in a mess and in the relegation zone. Yesterday was a bad day at the office, but it’s not a disaster.
Even if we had Danny at the start of the season, I didn’t expect to win the league this year. I was hopeful of a trophy, and we still have that available to us.
You lads and lasses on this page have been superb from day one — which will be 15 years ago come April. I’ve probably banned people over the years who didn’t deserve it, especially with me being the biggest walloper on the page at times haha.
You all “keep it real” and I can’t thank you enough.
This has been some journey and we’re in a transition period — a positive one that not many people saw coming. Before the Americans and the new investors came in, I honestly only saw doom and gloom.
