Many people here will probably know this has been a tough year for me, and I even had to take a break for a while, due to my wife being diagnosed with and treated for a rare skin cancer. She luckily caught it early and was able to get the treatment she needed and is now 100% cancer free!
However this was eye opening to us, and we both agreed that we wanted to do something to give back. So we are announcing a CHARITY STREAM ON DECEMBER 20th supporting a cause that is very close to us now, The Skin Cancer Foundation!

Apologies once again for how slow the content here has been, to be honest there has just been a lot of growing pains while trying to make more ambitious and meaningful content here... I've gotten a lot more efficient at writing and shooting videos, but not much faster at editing and finishing these more complex videos, so there's like 3 videos in the hopper, all hopefully releasing SOON™.
The first of the 3 I hope to have out within the next couple weeks and then hopefully the video release cadence will pick up after that since I have more videos ready to work on as soon as one goes out. Thanks for your patience, see you right here soon!

I'M TAKING A BREAK… From streaming specifically...
Posted a video on my VOD channel explaining that I'm taking an extended break from streaming, NOT Youtube as a whole, just livestreaming. I'm reposting this here because… Well it has the most visibility here, and I do restream to this channel so perhaps some people here would like to be made aware of it if they watch here on Youtube.
You can watch the video (linked below) for all of the details, as well as read my previous post on this channel where I talked about my wife's skin cancer diagnosis and surgeries she's currently undergoing (don't worry, she will be fine but this is just something we are dealing with at the moment) since it is relevant to why I made this decision. Otherwise, here's the gist of it: • Indefinite break from streaming (est. 1-2 months but tbd) • Still uploading here and on my clips channel where I will be hopefully spending MORE time working on content in lieu of streaming • Medical bills have put a financial strain on us and I need to focus on things that make me money and streaming has not been very lucrative for me despite the time I put into it • I am opening a Ko-fi if you would like a way to support me directly other than Twitch (link below) • Charity stream for cancer research still a priority but will be later this year after this stuff has blown over • I will be back and hopefully better than ever… When I'm ready of course, follow my socials or join my Discord to stay up to date with what I'm doing!
In the meantime if all you're interested in is this channel's long form content… This might even be good news for you, I do plan on using this additional time to get more videos out, in fact that is my top priority when it comes to content during my break from streaming, in addition to just getting my head right and attending to personal matters. Thanks for understanding, and hopefully I will see you soon!

DOOM video been out for 24 hours now, I saw some people surprised that it's a full blown critique/video essay and not a gameplay video, and YES!! If you didn't know, that's why it took so long and was such a huge project, it's the longest video of this type I've ever done and by a lot, so if you passed on it not knowing that I hope you will consider checking it out, it was a huge labor of love and one of my favorite videos I've done to date!
I'd love to know what you thought about it, if you enjoyed it, if you didn't enjoy it, and what games or subjects you'd like to see me tackle with this format and level of depth in the future!
Oh yeah and Dark Ages early access begins tonight and I will be streaming it! Hope to see you there!
Still hard at work on the DOOM video which is still on track to release in the next couple of days, but if 2 hours of me yapping about DOOM isn't enough for you this week, I hopped on @DJCerealSauce6455's podcast once again to talk about content creation, games, and music, including some tidbits about what I'm working on for the channel this year and what direction things are heading in! Give it a listen if that interests you!
Sorry for the general radio silence here, I am hard at work on a huge video that feels long overdue. Of course there's no better time than now, but at the beginning of this year I realized it didn't sit right that I had never made a dedicated video on the modern DOOM games. So I started replaying through all of their content, and the result is I made a 2 hour behemoth video dissecting all of my feelings on DOOM 2016, Eternal, and its DLCs!
I still have a lot of work to do which I will be getting back to ASAP, but I'm not sure I've ever been quite so excited to share a video with all of you so I had to just throw this out there. Be on the lookout for it about a week from today!
