The Perdana Global Peace Forum 2005, organised by the Perdana Leadership Foundation on December 2005 at the PWTC, KL, Malaysia, intended as a platform for the discussion of current world problems and through comprehensive discourse, provide ideas to make our world a better and safer place. The Forum brought together a diverse and select group of people to achieve global peace.
Perdana Global Peace Organisation (PGPO) began with the launching of the KL Initiative to Criminalise War in the first PGPForum in December 2005. Those who attended the Forum realised a serious, active and sustained struggle is needed to outlaw war and encourage global peace. PGPO was formed on 4 May 2006, a NGO spearheaded by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Perdana Global Peace Foundation (PGPF) was registered in October 2010 thus enabling better reach within the realm of advocacy and humanitarian relief.
