The Fortified Ones

We are called to forgive, and as we forgive our Heavenly Father forgives us.


Guess what?


We forgive whether their apology or repentance is sincere or not because it's who God is and who we are in Him.


However, those that do not repent and do a 180 and only ever consistently offer a hollow apology? Forgive them and let them walk out of your life.


Some apologies are given in a placating and self-serving spirit. They are not consistent with the character of God or His Word.

Don't accept a "trojan" horse apology devoid of actual repentance and the spirit of humility and then nurse bitterness and unforgiveness on account of their pride.

Don't let their sin against you produce sin in you.

Forgive them, and give them to the Father. God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. How can two walk together unless they agree?

Look for those with skin in the game who repent and humble themselves quickly to the Word and His Spirit. Those are your fellow warriors in Christ.
