Hey beautiful people. I just wanted to sign off for 2025. It's been both an incredibly amazing and difficult year. From a Youtube perspective I feel like I've struggled to share all of that with you guys. I've spent the past month taking a big internal look at what I need to change and I think some of that is just being more honest with my own personal struggles. Not just showing you what I struggle with on the bike!

As the truth is, despite having an amazing year of challenges and adventures on the bike, I'm a terrible bike mechanic, I still struggle with emotional eating and my home base is at my parents whilst I chase my dreams (which I'm eternally grateful for). I wrestle with all of the above, plus more day to day struggles, but I never really talk about it. In fact, I sometimes actively hide it.

So I'm taking two weeks off my phone, social media and YouTube to reset, and prepare for next year.

Thank you so much for subscribing to my channel, watching and interacting with my videos. I hope that going into next year I can continue to help you guys on your own cycling journeys and give you some enjoyable content from my own trips :)

A few people had asked me to create a video of my whole bikepacking process. From packing my bags, to setting up camp, to cooking dinner!

So I filmed my little overnighter trip last week for you guys and provide a step by step look at what I do. It's definitely not the best but there is no right and wrong for this stuff!

I went to Kendal Mountain Festival a weekend ago and had an incredibly inspiring time. I got to speak at base camp myself which was awesome but also visit a lot of talks which had a profound impact on me. One of which is that I like to think my content and talks inspire and empower others. I like to think I'm helping. But the talks made me want to actually do something to help.

I've therefore decided to run a mini-training camp in Dorset next April. Completely free. You'd just need to get down to the South Coast of the UK for a long weekend of riding. Once I've got a group together we can sort out dates and whether we'll wild camp or go to campsites. I think I'll limit the group to about 6 people to start with.

So if you're reading this and you like the idea of bikepacking or cycle touring but you're relatively new or if you've started and you just want to go out and ride with some other people to get to grips with it. Then send me message/drop a comment/get in touch.

Really excited to host my own event and help some others get into bikepacking :)
