Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) telah menerbitkan izin untuk PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) sebagai entitas baru, hasil merger tiga bank syariah milik Himbara.

Deputi Komisioner Humas dan Logistik Anto Prabowo menyampaikan hal tersebut kepada CNBC Indonesia.

"Izin tersebut diterbitkan melalui surat dengan Nomor : SR-3/PB.1/2021 tanggal 27 Januari 2021 perihal Pemberian Izin Penggabungan PT Bank Syariah Mandiri dan PT Bank BNI Syairah ke dalam PT Bank BRIsyariah Tbk serta Izin Perubahan Nama dengan Menggunakan Izin Usaha PT Bank BRIsyariah Tbk Menjadi Izin Usaha atas nama PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk sebagai Bank Hasil Penggabungan," tulis Anto melalui pesan singkat.
