I’m heading to Meghalaya this November to experience the magical Cherry Blossom Festival, and guess what? 🌸 You can join me too! ✨ Let’s explore the pink blooms, the cool breeze, and create some unforgettable memories together 💖
On Saturday, 19th September 2025, I received my appointment letter as a Guest Teacher (English) at Gauhati University Model High School. It is a significant milestone in my journey, yet on that very day, I could not bring myself to share the news. It is a meaningful step in my journey as an educator, yet my heart feels heavy while sharing this news. The sudden demise of our beloved Zubeen Garg has left an unfillable void—his voice, his spirit, and his love for work and life will forever remain with us. 🌹 Though this may not feel like the right time to celebrate, I truly believe he would have wanted us to keep moving forward, to keep working with dedication, just like he did. Though this may not feel like a moment for celebration, I believe moving forward with sincerity and commitment is the best way to honor his legacy. With that spirit, I step into this new beginning with gratitude and responsibility.
Zubeen Da, you will always remain alive in our hearts, and your legacy will continue to guide us.
Today, our hearts are heavy beyond words. The news about Zubeen Garg has left not just Assam but the entire Northeast shaken. For decades, his voice has been more than just music—it has been the soul of our land, the heartbeat of our culture, and the echo of our emotions.
Zubeen da was not just a singer; he was a storyteller, a dreamer, and a symbol of Assamese pride. Through every song, he gave us moments to cherish, memories to hold on to, and hope to lean on. His melodies carried our laughter, our love, and even our tears.
This incident has reminded us how fragile life is. The entire community, from villages to cities, feels a void that words cannot fill. The grief that has touched each Assamese heart today proves how deeply connected we all are through his music.
But Zubeen da’s legacy is eternal. His songs will continue to guide generations, reminding us of our roots, our identity, and the power of art to unite. Even though he is no longer with us in the same way, his voice will forever remain alive in every celebration, every gathering, and every quiet evening when we turn to his music for comfort.
Today, we mourn. But tomorrow, and every day after, we will celebrate the life and music of a legend who will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace, Zubeen da. 💔🎶 Your voice will live forever.
Guys, Today, I’m beyond happy to share that I have officially cleared SLET in the General Category! 💛 This journey wasn’t easy — from managing my studies, content creation, living alone, to dealing with some of the hardest days of my life — but every challenge shaped me into who I am today. ( did a little celebration)
