President Trump announced on social media that he signed legislation calling on the Justice Department to release its files on the convicted s*x offender Jeffrey Epstein within 30 days.
Trump’s signature does not guarantee the release of all the files. The bill contains significant exceptions, including a provision protecting continuing investigations, which could mean many documents would stay confidential.

Soul Legend D'Angelo, 51, has died after private battle with pancreatic cancer.
D'Angelo, who was known for his hits like "Brown Sugar" and "Lady" was regarded as a neo-soul pioneer.
A statement released by his family:
"The shining star of our family has dimmed his light for us in this life....After a prolonged and courageous battle with cancer, we are heartbroken to announce that Michael D'Angelo Archer, known to his fans around the world as D'Angelo, has been called home," their statement continued. "We are saddened that he can only leave dear memories with his family, but we are eternally grateful for the legacy of extraordinarily moving music he leaves behind. We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time but invite you all join us in mourning his passing while also celebrating the gift of song that he has left for the world."

Actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner has passed away. He was 54. He was in Costa Rica on a family vacation and drowned while swimming.
Warner drowned off the coast of Costa Rica on Sunday, Costa Rican National Police told ABC News. Warner's official cause of death was asphyxia.
He died near Cocles, a beach in Limon, Costa Rica, he was caught by a high current in the water and was discovered Sunday afternoon.
Warner was formally identified by Costa Rica's national police.
My condolences to his family and friends that knew him well. May he rest peacefully. 🙏🏽
