How Our Gift Shop Dream Turned Into Something Bigger
5 years ago, we started a small business making personalized gifts - photo cubes, spinning frames, custom designs. It was creative and meaningful, but not everyone took it seriously.
I still remember what my wife’s father said to me: “Why don’t you do something serious? You’ll never even be able to buy a car just by selling pictures.”
I didn’t argue. I just kept working quietly.
Two years later, I showed up at his house… in the car we bought from the money we earned doing exactly that - the business he once doubted. And we’re still doing it to this day.
Now we’ve started something new: a cooking blog. My wife cooks, I film and do the voiceovers. It’s simple, fun, and full of love.
But of course, this time it’s her mom who jokes: “So what now? People are going to line up under your window and shout, ‘Feed me!’?” 😂
We laugh, but deep down, we know what we’re capable of. Once again, we’re here to prove that even a small idea can turn into something big - if you give it your heart.
Who knows? Maybe one day, we’ll be up there with Gordon Ramsay and the biggest cooking creators in the world.
Because for us, this isn’t just about food. It’s about building something real. Again.
Our trip to Italy started with a surprise… We accidentally ate yogurt that was 22 days expired 😳 Thankfully, my wife noticed soon after, and we all took some medicine just in case. Luckily, we’re all okay and ready for pasta instead of probiotics! 🇮🇹😅

We’re going to Italy soon and there we will find some new recipes for our videos.
What should we look at?
Gelato, pizza, pasta, focaccia. What else?
