The Museum of Bus Transportation Spring Fling at Hershey, PA was such a great event. Too bad this event became mostly an antique car show as of this year with a lot more antique cars and much less antique buses. I wish it was the 2010s decade again so that I can attend these kinds of events again. Too bad I missed the 2018 Museum of Bus Transportation Spring Fling, but if I did go, I would have met ‪@BusBoy501Productions‬ in person which would have been great.

Here is an old photo I took of my school district's buses #699 and #1675, which were a 2002 International RE and a 2004 IC RE, respectively. Both buses are now retired and #699 is now reincarnated on a 2026 Thomas SAF-T-Liner C2 Jouley. Photo was taken on November 25, 2014 by me.

On this day exactly 10 years ago, I caught photos of Fairfax County Public Schools bus #1552 as a 2001 AmTran RE with a T444E engine. As of today, the exact same fleet number is now reincarnated on one of their 2022 IC CE shorties with a Cummins B6.7 engine. In fact, I caught photos of the current bus #1552 back in June 2022.

12 years ago on February 26, 2014, I caught a photo of my school district's 1998 Thomas SAF-T-Liner MVP ER #1473. One of the unique things about this bus is that the front blinking lights are completely circular while most of the other units have rounded rectangular blinking lights in the front. At the time this photo was taken, I was a senior at high school.

Senior year of high school was such a GREAT time because the school bus fleet in my school district was predominantly Type D (which is my favorite type of school bus especially the rear engines). Now, these buses along with other older Type Ds are already replaced and killed by the newer IC CEs (both general ed and special needs) making it my school district's school bus fleet now have more Type Cs now and less Type Ds than back then.
