Just popping in with a little hello and a big thank you!

I know it’s been quiet on the channel for a while. Things have been a bit challenging behind the scenes, so I’ve needed to step back and focus on life away from YouTube for a while. I can’t say exactly when I’ll be back to uploading just yet, but I truly hope it won’t be too long. I really do miss being here and chatting with you all.

Thank you so much to everyone who has left kind comments, sent lovely messages, and continued to support the channel. It honestly means more to me than I can properly express.

Over the holidays, I did manage to enjoy some much-needed comfort viewing, revisiting a few favourite films and discovering a couple of new ones too, which was absolutely lovely! (You may spot a couple of them in the photos!) Did you watch any old movies over Christmas? I’d love to hear what you chose and which ones you loved.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year, and I wish every single one of you a happy, healthy and truly wonderful 2026. ❤️

Thank Crunchie It’s Friday! 😄

It’s been one of those weeks, non-stop and barely a moment to catch my breath! But I wanted to share a quick update with you all.

On Tuesday, 19th August, I managed to pop by and leave some roses for Mary Millington on the 46th anniversary of her passing. I arrived quite late in the day, and it didn’t look like anyone else had been. As many of you know, Mary was the subject of the very first video on this channel, just a short one, only a couple of minutes long. At some point, I’d love to put together a more in-depth video about her life.

I haven’t had a chance to keep up with comments this week, but I’ll be diving in for a proper catch-up very soon. Thank you so much for your patience and continued support, it really is appreciated!

It’s my book baby’s birthday today! *Bombshells - Five Women Who Set the Fifties on Fire* was launched on March 16, 2020 — the same day Boris Johnson started shutting down the country and urging everyone to stay home 😫. I tried to cancel as many guests as I could, but some had travelled long distances and were already at the venue. The event was at the Connaught Theatre in Worthing, and they refused to refund me, so we decided to go ahead with it anyway. Luckily, no one caught so much as a cold! It turned out to be an amazing night, especially watching *The Girl Can’t Help It* with Jayne Mansfield on the big screen.

Fast forward to today... I’m currently working on my next video and hope to upload it very soon. Also, I was thrilled to see *Charles Hawtrey* hit one million views! Thank you so much to everyone who’s watched it — I’m so grateful! Have a beautiful Sunday, everyone! xxxx

Hello Everyone!

What a stunning Sunday it’s been! ☀️😎 I’ve spent the day out on the road, paying my respects at the final resting place of one of my all-time favourites. I’m so excited to share this video with you all – still got a little more filming to do, but this person has always brought me so much joy, and it’s been an absolute pleasure putting this together ❤️

The journey today had its challenges – traffic and road closures made things interesting – but, as always, coffee came to the rescue! 🧋🧋🧋

I hope the weather’s been just as beautiful wherever you are. I’ve been craving that bright spring sunshine myself! 🌸🌷🌼 Spent the whole week organizing my office/den, so it felt extra amazing to get out and enjoy the sunshine today!

Today marks what would have been the 100th birthday of the wonderful Harry H. Corbett. He was featured in one of my very first videos on the channel, though it's changed quite a bit since then! I just wanted to come on and say a massive thank you for such a lovely welcome back and for all the kind and thoughtful comments I’ve been receiving on the Liz Fraser video (and of course all the other videos!) Your lovely comments always make my day - often make me laugh and even cry (happy tears!!!!) I truly can’t thank you all enough!
