My husband and I have three little ones in heaven after experiencing a chemical pregnancy followed by the stillbirth of our son Theodore in Sept. 2022, and of our daughter Felicity in June 2023. In my search to make meaning from my pain, I would love to be able to walk with other mothers of loss through the darkness and into a place of hope.

Grief work is hard. Let’s not run from it today. Try journaling, even just one sentence. Say their name and tell their story. Today is a hard day for me so I’m reminding myself more than anyone that this deep hurt is only my love for my children. It doesn’t make me weak and it doesn’t make broken— it makes me a mom.

Would you like to see what’s in our keepsake boxes? If you weren’t able to keep anything from your baby’s birth or your pregnancy, here are some ideas for keepsakes to create in honor of you precious baby:
1. Knit/crochet a baby blanket or have a friend or family member do so
2. Write a poem or song
3. Create an art piece that reminds you of them
4. Get a tattoo that represents them
5. Plant some flowers
6. Customize jewelry with their name engraved on it
