I tried updating the Asus XG17 portable monitor's firmware to fix the problem that the monitor never wakes from sleep, so I either have to unplug/replug the cable to the laptop or pressing the power button.

I followed the Asus's instruction and it updated my Gigabyte's monitor firmware instead and bricked the monitor, while the XG17 was completely untouched. I tried updating the XG17 again using my company's laptop and it was successful.

But now, my Gigabyte monitor is bricked/dead, WTF Asus!!!
