Dang, Moomin picked a great time to remind folks how much of a banger Comet in Moominland was. Folks should give that a read if you ever find yourself feeling despair.
I want to thank everyone who has watched and commented on my most recent video on Holes! True to my word, I plan to donate all of the video's revenue to the Spirit of Giving fund once I get the payments from AdSense.

I am actually not going to be saying much about this right now because of some light involvement I have had with this project. I was lucky enough to have Julia Pistor, the films producer, reach out to me late last year asking if I would want to act as a consultant on the film’s development. This consultant job primarily called on my experience with Moomin and Tove Jansson’s work, as well as my perspective as an American fan of the series.
I won’t go into much detail about the conversations I’ve had as part of a non disclosure agreement I signed with Annapurna, but everything I have seen and heard with this creative team has given me a great degree of confidence in this project. I wish the artists at Annapurna a good production and greatly anticipate whatever is to come!
Out of curiosity, I was checking to see which videos aren't visible under YouTube's weird restriction mode stuff.
It's quite interesting that videos that cover more explicitly dark subjects like in Porco Rosso or my video on Stop Motion aren't flagged while videos about Jeff Smith's Bone are?
Others have already talked about this in more detail, but I'd disable restricted mode if you haven't already
AAAAAHHHH!! ITS ALMOST DONE! After months of doing revisions and other stuff, I have a completed draft of my original Call of Cthulhu adventure "The Summer of Green and Gold!" If you would like to read through the 146 page draft, you can find it on my Patreon! Hopefully, I will have more news to share about this project before the year is out, but until then, Thank you all for the continued support! I hope to share more news soon. Best Wishes, Henry
One of my biggest inspirations when I started making videos was George Weidman of @bunnyhopshow , who continues to make some of the most insightful videos about games and history on this platform.
For the past few years, he has been dealing with a precarious living situation due to AirBnbs taking over his residential condo tower and mistreating residents. This is something that has been observed in many cities throughout the country and is one of the many factors that has seen the cost of living rise to increasingly unsustainable rates.
If you have the means, I'd encourage folks to donate to their legal fund, which, if successful, may help establish legal precedent against the harmful business practices of companies like AirBnb.
Hey everyone! I am not going to be doing a playdate stream this week because I am going to be guesting on @Aranock's fundraising stream today at 1-3pm CST and tomorrow from 2-4 CST. I hope you will join us then!

Some people might be curious to hear my thoughts about the news that Annapurna is making a Moomin Film with Rebecca Sugar as Director. (Source: variety.com/2025/film/news/steven-universe-rebecca…)
