New video is up: Two people. A registered company. And a coding tool, Claude Code, running the operating system underneath it. Clients, invoices, payroll, leads, a website, social accounts. Every one of those normally comes with a subscription. So I counted what a company of two actually needs.
The answer: a folder, one app we built ourselves, and four things we pay for. This video walks through the app we call the Command Center, on sample data, and ends with the honest list of what we still buy.
Everything on screen is sample data. The clients, people and amounts are made up.

I uploaded my first YouTube video.
I’m not a developer. I’ve never shipped an app. But for the past year, almost everything my studio makes has gone through Claude Code. Briefs, quotes, client decks, the website. This week, the channel itself.
So I made a video about the question I couldn’t leave alone: can someone like me run a business on a coding tool? An actual business, with deadlines and invoices.
The answer came down to five boring things: a folder, a file of standing orders, a memory, a map of the whole repo, and a wiki the model maintains instead of me. None of it is code.
There’s also a part on Boris Cherny, who runs Claude Code at Anthropic. He told a room of founders to delete their setup every six months and watch what the model does on its own. That one changed how I work.
If you run a small studio or a small business and you’ve assumed this stuff is for engineers, watch it. Ten minutes.
