Good morning

‪@CORGIDieCast‬ have announced four new releases which should have been revealed in their RIAT tent yesterday if the show had taken place

2 x spooky AC 47 gunships (one from Vietnam and one from the CAF)
1/48 phantom Black Mike (which I had predicted)
And a 1/72 CAF p51 old red nose

So we now know the second amended Diecast was the c47 with several more adaptions including open trooper door with paratroopers in as revealed in the Diecast diaries

Good morning

First of all an apology - really struggling with time to do the videos currently as I’ve caught hay fever, night fever and World Cup fever, as well as a heavy does of airshow fever!

Had a couple of busy weekends on the spin with a fabulous weekend of Shuttleworth festival of flight, followed by the summer airshow at duxford from the Duxford school from a different perspective (as in all honesty the lineup was pretty weak)

As England amazingly progressed past the hosts Mexico - I’m sure time will still be at a premium til at least Saturday (although I won’t get my hopes up too much) but as always I have been steadily adding to the pile including two from Shuttleworth as well as one of my top 5 wants which uncle Garry picked up in Leeds for me on his travels - which too my knowledge has never been reviewed on YouTube! She needs a tiny bit of TLC including a touch up on one wing and a new tail - but she will be good to go!

Of course guess away down below but I won’t let you know just yet!

Good morning

It’s back to gods own airfield at Old warden this weekend for Festival of flight for a weekend of epic aircraft including the uk debut of the me109 Emil and of course the Flying bulls - but I’m really looking forwards to seeing the Flying legends P51D Frances Dell!

I will cover both days as a video including some flight line walks and airshow displays!

I wonder if I can blag an interview or two whilst I’m there?
And of course if there are model stalls I will cover the selection as well!

Apologies been really busy last few weeks and have caught World Cup fever so I haven’t had a chance to record any videos

Fingers crossed I will be back on the rodeo this week but we have festival of flight pending where I will hopefully cover day 1 and 2 whilst I’m there

Good morning

The end of the week is fast approaching thankfully - I have another two days of learning first aid training so a nice chilled out one for me!

Just really wanted to say a massive thank you to you all…

YouTube is a funny place - it takes a lot of effort, time and of course money to buy these models - and sometimes you wonder why when you make a video and literally nobody watches them.

For YouTube was always a way (along with Instagram) of documenting my collection and also a way of recording my voice for my boy when I’m long gone so he can listen to me ramble about aircraft- but also a way of sharing my passion which keeps the mind busy especially when things around can often be falling apart

Over the last month we’ve had two videos that have done very well - the Aussie Canberra being one - and it just helps remind me why I do this. I hope you enjoy them (it’s lovely to see all the comments) and of course if there’s things you don’t like such as intro music very high - I’m happy to try and change them.

With the summer air show season approaching including Duxford and Shuttleworth shows (I was doing RIAT but damn they cancelled) I will put some airshow compilations together as well including flightline walks and of course the stalls, as well as a visit to ARD at some point.

Again thanks for all the love and hopefully you will tune in tonight at 1900 for another cracking release of an aircraft that I’ve grown up with on the airshow scene at Duxford
